Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is a nutrition-focused therapeutic approach for the treatment of health conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, obesity (adult and children), high cholesterol, high blood pressure, malnutrition and more. MNT is also a prerequisite for bariatric candidates to ensure surgery safety, readiness, and success.

Following the Nutrition Care Process, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) will assess, formulate, and monitor an individualized treatment strategy to help you improve upon pre-existing health conditions.

For Diabetes and Kidney Disease Stage IV, Medicare Part B will cover up to 3 hours of MNT services for the first year, and 2 hours of MNT services thereafter. Telehealth available. Private insurance coverage varies, therefore, please check with your insurance provider.
